All Saints Church has a vibrant Cursillo community and we participate in a very active Cursillo movement in the Diocese of South Carolina.
The focus of the Cursillo movement is to bring the world to Christ. Participation in Cursillo begins with attendance at a three day Cursillo weekend. Those who have attended a Cursillo weekend support each other in their ongoing work for Christ in what is commonly referred to as the Cursillo "Fourth Day".
There are several active Cursillo "Fourth Day" support groups in our parish.

A MIRACLE IN THE MAKING
Changing the heart of human beings is something that only God can achieve. This is the great miracle of His kindness. In the time after Christ, God brought this about by using human messengers. By weaving a network of love relationships, all opposition caused by selfishness, pleasure and power is overcome. In specific areas of Church history, God used new apostles to change the course of History according to His own plan of love. More than fifty years ago, Jesus Christ gave the gift of Cursillo to the lay people of His Church. Why to lay people?
Because they are at the heart of the world as God's leaven. If you

"Ultreya" is a Spanish word, derived from the original Latin, meaning Onward! It was in common use by pilgrims to greet and to encourage one another along the way. This word is now used by the Cursillo community to signify the meeting which is held after a Cursillo experience. This meeting may be between Cursillistas from one or several commmunities. The Ultreya gathers together groups from a particular region and provides continuity by contributing to the maintenance of the Cursillo spirit and by revealing the reality of the living Church. In a climate of friendship, members share their life experiences based on the three tenets of Cursillo life: i.e.: Prayer, Study and Action, as based on a passage from Scripture. This sharing can be contemplative in nature or may deal with an evangelizing experience. These sharing from real-life experiences, serve as examples to all of us of the challenge which Jesus lays before His followers: "Go and do likewise." If you would like to know more click here.
