About Toby

Toby Matson was born in Bakersfield California, raised in a flip-flopping combination of the Central Coast, California and Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Due to this flip-flopping combination he considers himself a nomad of the U.S. Toby then completed his Bachelors of Bible and Theology at Covenant College in Chattanooga Tennessee. During his time at Covenant his call to vocational ministry was confirmed, encouraged, and trained. He served as an residents assistant, a camp counselor, a wilderness guide, a chapel ministry coordinator, on a team in the Christian ministry in the national parks, and he started a youth group at his church: Anglican Church of the Redeemer. Toby is excited to continue learning and teaching at All Saints Church! 

 

Toby enjoys all things outdoors from climbing, to sports, and naps on the lawn! He loves reading, music, and long conversations! Most of all Toby loves Key Lime Pie!
