About Leila

Leila was born in Ottawa, Canada and lived on the East Coast of Canada till the age of 11 when her family answered God's call for them to live as missionaries in Jakarta, Indonesia. Indonesia is home to many of her fond memories and formative experiences as she lived there up until graduating high school. She then moved to the USA to pursue a degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology from Covenant College atop Lookout Mountain, GA! At Covenant her time was often split between studying, adventuring with friends, having conversations over coffee or meals and working in ministry at the college and at her church. She served as a violinist on worship teams, taught violin and especially loved getting to worship in community living and learning alongside Christ-followers.

As her time at Covenant especially deepened her love for ministry, children, music and the outdoors, she is thrilled to be in Florence serving the family of All Saints' Church. Leila will never turn down an opportunity to get to know someone, a good book recommendation, or a chance to have fun with kids :)
